Next, we stopped at a roadside market to purchase some spices to take back home as a souvenir. It was a great opportunity to experience the local culture and see the different products that are available. We started our day by taking a private driver to Sorrento, a charming town located just outside of Naples. This city was destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 79 AD and has been preserved to this day. We were able to see the ruins of the city and learn about the history of this fascinating place.
